Nice desk. Went with grey color and like it. Very heavy box and material. Material feels like it is made from that plastic that picnic or school tables are made with. Wood grain look is nicerealistic. I don’t think it will scratch easily. Because there are two configuration options it is quite confusing, mainly the drawer part, but holes lined up just fine. I really love this piece as it is better than the 1st 'craft center' (that is how I use it) I purchased a few years ago which was ruined by a flood in our basement (no fault of Wayfair of course)! It has more style with the sliding drawers, costs a lot less, but did not come with a separate file cabinet like the 1st, but do not need it as this one has 2 file drawers. And the best part, is it has a electric recepitcal on the top of the desk for a lamp or another appliance if needed. And it fits in my ensuite walk-in closet (which is my little craft room). Im in love with this desk, it is super high quality and worth the money. There was only one main issues which was that it was very difficult to drill in two screws to secure the legs of the desk. We ended up having to use a drill to get them in despite the instructions stating that a drill shouldnt be required. I wasnt worried because the legs were already very secured whether I added the screws or not. I cannot emphasize how sturdy this desk is. In the manual some diagrams were unclear and drawn incorrectly. Specifically for attaching the metal tracks to the drawers. Also none of the screws and hardware were labeled despite them having labels in the manual. So you just had to match the part to the picture. Outside of that the desk and hardware is high quality and I love the product overall, it was just a bit of a puzzle at some points but nothing I couldnt figure out on my own and Im a 25 year old female XD. I am very happy with this desk. I wanted something that wasn't too large but still offered shelves and storage for my parrots' toys and other supplies. The two drawers are surprisingly roomy and are perfect for storing smaller items like a tape measure, scissors etc. I also liked that you could choose between installing hooks or the fabric side pocket. I went with the pocket, but it's nice to have the option. Assembly was straight forward, and all of the hardware bags and parts were clearly labeled, making the process easy to follow. While it's marketed as a desk, it's versatile enough for many other uses. As you can see, it works great as a parrot station with plenty of storage while still maintaining a small footprint.
