Well they were not exactly what I ecpected but they’ll do. They have white and hints of grey grainy wood look. Which I either missed or didn’t see. It’s not the most sturdy but does come with anchors. The assembly was fairly easy but whoever made the design for the backboards…. Looks great! It was easy to assemble but hard to do the screws. The paint is a bit easy to mess up if your screwsscrewdriver slips in those tight areas Also, the doors are very slightly misaligned so they don’t close perfectly. I suspect that it can be fixed by raisinglowering the leveling thingies at the bottom but one had to flip the whole thing after it’s all done to do that and that didn’t seem like worth the effort. I really like these. For bookshelves that you have to assemble, they are very sturdy and look nice. I ordered 3. The first one probably took me about 4 hours to build by myself as a middle aged, healthy, average strength female. The box is quite heavy and hard to move through the house on my own - I used a dolly to get them inside. When you get near the end of the assembly process you do need some strength to maneuver them and move them around, but it can be done by one person. By the third shelf I got the assembly time down to 2-1/2 hrs. Directions are clear and mostly easy to follow, but I added a light hammer and two different types of ratchet screwdrivers to my regular screwdriver to speed up the process. You definitely need more than one size of screwdriver head. All are Phillips head though. Getting the flat back of the shelf slid into the slots is the hardest part of everything. My picture doesn't show the front label holders as I was in a rush and will add them later. The shelves seem sturdy and seem to be able to hold a lot of weight. I really like the look of this cabinet! I got it to house my purses. It fit perfectly into my entry closet, although I had to finish constructing it inside the closet, which was tricky.
