I'll preface this by saying "I fully expect these to be trashed within a few years, as I have a busy kitchen and a three year old". I purchased a less expensive version, fully expecting to have to replace when the kids are older. Edit 2/13/2026. We've now had these just under 6 years. While I started my first review with an expectation of these being absolutely trashed in a couple years, I am thrilled to report that I was wrong. They're holding up great to a now 8 and 4 year olds daily meals. The kids also like to use these stools as stepladders to get cereal, bread, etc out of the upper cabinets. We needed new chairs for our new table and these are perfect. They are comfortable, look great and are so easy to assemble, took me maybe 5 minutes per chair. The only thing I was disappointed with is that one chair is a bit uneven after assembling the legs but I didn’t feel like packing everything up and returning so we will live with it.. Michael.
