My recent new position requires me to work from home, so we set up a little 'office' for my needs, which includes a stand/sit, option for the desk. My wife and I reviewed the possible candidates on Wayfair and we narrowed it down to about three. This one ticked the boxes. It arrived very well packaged and protected for transit. It is reasonably straightforward to assemble. Take your time and it goes to together well. The buttons (see photo) on the arms don't really have any function, I think they're supposed to lock the arm in the up or down position but don't. But don't worry, the arms won't drop down unexpectedly, and they swing up and back far enough to let you get out of the chair at the side. The chair adjusts for height (What I needed) how much resistance when you lean back in it, and how far back it leans. The adjustable foot ring at the base is very handy. Comfort? Oh wow! The previous office chair felt like sitting on rocks after 30 minutes. This is sublime. No really. There's a description of its seat internal construction, but quite honestly, I'd believe it if they said it contained only air. I have spent the last week, every day for 7 hours plus in it and I really didn't think I'd been sitting in anything. There's enough support for your thighs (I found using the foot ring takes the weight off your thighs too), back support is great. And the center pneumatic column is infinitely adjustable between its lowest and highest settings; it is worthwhile experimenting with until you get it how you need it. It isn't the cheapest out that, sure. But neither is it the most expensive you can buy, but so far for value for money I'm not sure it can be beaten. I love this chair. It is very comfortable with soft leather upholstery and smooth, wooden armrests. The aesthetics are on point as well. The metal frame is really attractive on its own. If I didn’t enjoy the comfort of the back pad, I would leave it off just because I love the look of the metal frame. The back Support leans backward for comfort which is a distinction that makes this chair a lounger. I put it in the bedroom and plan to use it as my reading spot. There’s a lot to love about this leather lounger. They’re also some relatively small problems. To start, whomever did the instruction illustrations has a problem with perspective. You can figure assembly out, but logic is a better predictor of success than those instructions. The legs taper to a fairly small point. They put some tiny rubber pads on the ends of the legs, but they’re really inadequate to protect your hardwood floors or carpet. So you’ll need some kind of rubber end-caps or floor protectors. This is my new premium PU leather swivel drafting stool I just got from Wayfair. It’s such a nice caramel brown color and looks good in my craft room. I’m 67 years old and had this put together in 35 minutes, and the only tool needed was provided. It has an adjustable height from 21.25” to 29.3”, so it’s perfect for working on projects that lays flat on the table, to working on taller projects where I would normally have to stand or reach up. It has a nicely padded seat and back cushion and a foot rest. The mechanism to raise or lower it works smoothly. It arrived undamaged even though there were a few punctures on the box. It was packed nicely to avoid any damage during shipment. These are great chairs. I have two in my office for meetings, and everyone has commented that they are comfortable and attractive. Since they don't have arms, the small meeting table doesn't look like it has a forest of furniture. The beige is more taupe than cream, so the color isn't quite what I envisioned—it's darker and grayer. But overall I'm very pleased. I like the style and comfort of the chair. The first one Wayfair sent out had damage on the seat and the back. Wayfair replaced it after going through their damaged/return process. I only gave four stars because it doesn’t always hold you at the height you want. It will slowly lower without pressing the lever. Beautiful Chair! I love the feel and size - it is more substantial than most chairs of this design, so check the dimensions. I will say the coloring in the photo is different than in real life. The leather is more brown than gray and the wood is not a natural white oak color- it has a light brown stain and then kind of a whitewash that lays in the grain on the arms/legs. They look good in my space, but I could definitely see a scenario where the color is different enough to be a deal breaker on the chairs.
