So far we are impressed with this l-shaped bed. It is just what we needed for a loft hang-out/sleeping space. We were under construction of a new house and unfortunately we experienced delays. Once we did I was completely surprised to find the color of the upholstery was a hint of a bluegreengray. Needless to say that was not the beige I was expecting. When I reached out they (AI assistant) simply said it was too long so nothing could be done. Unless you are looking for the bluegreen color palette I would NOT recommend this. This take time to put together! You will need a drill to drill in each piece of wood. The fabric is soft and collects dog hair easily. I used sharp scissors to open and nicked the fabric a bit. Excellent quality, super sturdy and very easy to assemble!!! My boys ages 11 and 9 helped me (their mom) build it in just a few hours! It’s sturdy enough that I am able to lay in the top bunk with my 11yr old and it holds up great, my husband is 300lb and lays on the bottom bunk with our 9yr old with no issues! Very solid! And we love the pull out trundle twin size bed for when they have their cousins or friends over! We currently have our nugget play couch on the trundle rather than a mattress, but will be getting a mattress for it. The only complaint I have is that it came with absolutely no extra hardware incase a piece is broken or gets lost during set up, not a single extra bolt, screw or wooden dowel, but otherwise we are very happy with this purchase!!. What an incredible find?! We needed to replace the bunk bed at our cabin and were struggling to find a better alternative. Not only did the bed meet Our needs and price range, but thanks to the trundle, it saved so much space without losing any beds or the motif. Assembly was easy (took just under an hour with two people). We were missing two screws for one of the collapsible legs on the trundle, but it still works without that one bar. We already had two 6” mattresses from the old bunk bed, which we reused. It’s helpful for future buyers to know that the 6” was all we could get out of the trundle for it to roll in-and-out from under the bed frame with the comforter and sheets still on. Eventually, we added an 8” mattress to the top, which was even more comfortable and didn’t block the shelf on the headboard. Some of the other reviews say this unit is great as a children’s bed, which is true. But I’d like to add that a family friend and both my parents have used the beds (including my nearly 300 lb father) and it more than supports grown adults as well. My favorite features are the dual 110v outlets with a built-in USB charger, as well as the keyholes in the frame to convert both the trundle and top frame into a full without sliding apart mid-sleep. Only downside I’ve experienced is both frames squeak frequently, but the squeaking is not really enough to create a distraction or lose sleep over. Overall, this bed has been a smashing success. It looks great, supports kids and adults alike, and saves so much of space compared to other guest or bunk beds on the market. This is such a great bed! My daughter is obsessed with pink as you can tell from the pictures. It is such a fun bed for her! The lights are great and color changing. It seems to be built really nice also. Instructions were great which was so nice! The only things that I would change about this bed are putting a couple extra wheels on the trundle part to make it a little easier to put in and out and having the ability to put the headboard on the left or right end of the bed would be nice but these are not dealbreakers..
