The size was perfect b/c I am using it as a stove top cover to give me extra counter serving space; I rarely use my stovetop burners. The real Crema Marfil is quarried near Alicante, Spain, and is technically limestone. However, it is widely labeled as a Marble because it can be polished to a high shine. It has a subtle beige veined background and is an excellent material if you are looking for a gentle warm neutral color palette. Please beware of less expensive options on the market quarried often from Turkey, Indonesia, Egypt, or China as they have less desirable yellow, pink or red hues. Its jade-like appearance adds just the right amount of elegance to your project. In addition, the soft green color palette of mosaics is perfect for a relaxed beach-themed look.

The beauty of elemental metals is at the core of this anything-but-common porcelain collection.

This is absolutely some of the most beautiful tile I've seen. I installed it in a bathroom floor, and i get all sorts of comments on it. Very subtle look, I don't really pick up a "metallic" look to it, as it's more like a bit of a "shine" overall. Would definitely buy again. In fact, probably will very soon.. Kimberly. CA. The Alme Collection showcases a refined range of checkerboard porcelain tile designs, thoughtfully crafted to bring timeless patterning and modern sophistication into one cohesive series. Made from durable porcelain, it offers long-lasting strength, water resistance, and dependable performance for both residential and commercial spaces. Each design is offered in a 24" x 24" format with a pre-scored layout that replicates smaller tile detailing, delivering the visual intricacy of traditional installations with the ease of large-format application. This balanced sizing enhances flow and continuity while maintaining a classic checkerboard rhythm across surfaces. The collection features a unified checkerboard color story expressed through three elegant variations: bold black and ivory for dramatic contrast, warm creamy whites with soft beige tones for a softened classic look, and cool gray with crisp white for a modern, understated interpretation. Subtle Calacatta marble-inspired veining runs throughout each design, adding depth, movement, and a refined stone-like character.
