The cabinets look great! I was expecting them to be about 1 foot higher than they are (I guess I didn’t measure well). Its a good sold wood cabinet. Fits lots of heavy books. We were very happy we paid for assembly as it took him a while to do. He did a great job. Well made,sturdy,and looks just as pictured. Very heavy piece of furniture so you will need at least two strong people to move before you put the top piece or hutch on. Afterwards with furniture gliders it took three to move into its final placement. Also highly recommend securing it to the wall. The straps came with no need to buy them. It’s really heavy and could definitely hurt someone seriously if it would fall forward. The color of black is not a traditional black but a dark blue gray so depending on the sun it goes from dark blue with a lot of light to a dark gray as the sun goes down. If you’re looking for a true black this is not. Shipped in two pieces wrapped in a large sturdy cardboard which is great for protecting but crazy to unpack and get rid of. There is a lot of packing to get rid of. All in all I like the cabinet. I do think it was worth the money if you’re looking for a forever piece. It looks great, awesome amount of storage. I settled on getting this item instead of a solid wood option due to cost. It likely will not survive a move (it is mostly mdf). I got a sample of the color before I ordered it and it matches perfectly. The blue is a bit darker than what you see in the picture but I already knew that due to the sample. Assemble requires two experienced people and it's time consuming so if you don't have much experience assembling this type of furniture, get a professional to do it. My husband and I were able to compete it without issues but we are seasoned DIYers. It's a sturdy piece that looks good and fits our decor and needs. It was quickly shipped and arrived soon after. I removed one star because there were a few small indentations or marks in some of the pieces. Nothing too noticeable but I could not ignore it as I was putting it together. We had a smaller bar stand and as we accumulated different liqueurs and spirits, we were running out of space, so I found the Swavar bar cabinet and we love it!! We got the off white color and it compliments our home colors perfectly. Me and my wife took about an hour to build it, pretty straight forward. The quality is pretty good, does not feel cheap. This bar cabinet can hold A LOT of bottle, glasses and accessories and much much more.
