The package is a tall box. If it needs to be transported to upper level or lower level must have help to do so. I just opened the package and took each piece to upper level. The packaging was great. Instructions were clear. Lots of extra pieces of nuts were given. Can’t go wrong anywhere with assembly. Each piece was very well made. There’s hardly any assembly. It probably takes about 30 minutes to 40 minutes maximum. The wood pieces are solid wood. Has very smooth finish. The texture of the finished surface is soft and gives expensive feel. Once assembled one can tell its sturdy construction. We’ve been using it for a month now and no creaking or any noise. Perfect for apartment size bedroom or guest bedroom. Very happy with purchase. This bed frame is great and looks to be made of nice material. The directions completely miss a few steps (putting the actual headboard piece onto the support posts), so I ended up having to undo some parts and redo them. I still couldn't get the headboard fabric piece to align exactly with the side posts. Also, the wrench that is provided is too big for the space the bolts are supposed to go, so it was very difficult to tighten everything properly. The bed does look exactly like the photos and the materials seem durable. I don't love that the support pieces underneath the bed are unfinished cheap wood, but that's pretty common. I give this 4 out of 5 stars. Putting it together was very straightforward and easy. The only issue was two of the bars didn’t fully asking and I couldn’t screw the supportive beam in bc the screw wasn’t long enough. Luckily I had a spare screw that was longer so it all worked out.
