The package is a tall box. If it needs to be transported to upper level or lower level must have help to do so. I just opened the package and took each piece to upper level. The packaging was great. Instructions were clear. Lots of extra pieces of nuts were given. Can’t go wrong anywhere with assembly. Each piece was very well made. There’s hardly any assembly. It probably takes about 30 minutes to 40 minutes maximum. The wood pieces are solid wood. Has very smooth finish. The texture of the finished surface is soft and gives expensive feel. Once assembled one can tell its sturdy construction. We’ve been using it for a month now and no creaking or any noise. Perfect for apartment size bedroom or guest bedroom. Very happy with purchase. It's a beautiful bed but I had to return it since it's a King sized bedframe and I have a Queen. Forgot to double check the size during my hectic move. I should've realized it when the bedframe was huge. The assembly was not super easy for one person, but doable (I'm a 5'3" woman). My floors aren't properly leveled so I had trouble aligning a few of the holes on the headboard. I had to really push and re-adjust, but I got it all done in about 2 hours. The wood legs are a bit weak and do hear creaking. I decided to opt out of screwing every single slat to the bedframe since that would take way too long and I was tired! It did not feel super secure but I also put a queen mattress on it so.. Anyways, its good for the price and you get what you pay for - I really liked the look and probably would've kept it if iit wass the right size!
