We have a shoeless house so this small benchshoe organizer is perfect without being in the way. It would hold 8 pairs of my size 7 shoes or 6 of my BFs size 10.5. Only his flip flops will fit on top (my sneakers and low heels fit fine). High heels or don’t fit here and I doubt men’s size 11 or larger would fit. The cushion is loose and optional. We will likely add an adhesive if we don’t swap out. I addd contact paper inside to help with wear and tear. Unfortunately it came damaged at the top corner, which of course is showing in an obvious place, couldn't be in a place that isn't showing, right? Wayfair offered a discount, but that doesn't fix it. The pad on top is fine, the material of the cover is very thin and flimsy, kind of like a very light linen. Can easily change it if I can find the right size.
