I love this little table and chairs! It was really easy to put together and it’s very sturdy. Only 2 issues during install: #1 they sent 7 wooden plugs fur the chairs instead of 8 and apparently you need to buy wood glue to put them in, which is no biggie, I can pick up an extra at the hardware store. #2 there were no guide marks on the bottom of the table to show where to attach the brackets. Around year five we added some extra screws to the table base, but this was probably only needed due to disassembling and reassembling the table multiple times. I love this table and chairs. It is made very well and all Finishes of the screws line up as they should which makes assembly a breeze. The finish is well done too with a beautiful black satin. The seats are comfortable but I added some cushions. It came quickly and the only problem was a crack in the top which could have happened in transit. I worked in furniture for years and saw this all the time. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the company sent a replacement top so the customer service is top notch too. Great purchase.. First of all, I was highly impressed with the true quality of the 4 chairs! Nice and heavy. However, I would advise to order chairs separate. This dining set is a gentle softness.

We had a very difficult time getting the 2 table top halves to separate to reveal the leaf. It turns out, the manufacturer physically **drilled screws** into the bottom of the table closed and there was nothing in the instructions telling us this detail. These "remove" block pieces blend in with the rest of the wood on the bottom of the table. They did stamp "remove," on them but again, these blocks blend into the table and unless you know to look for them, they can easily be missed. The bottom also has some interior damage I'm assuming from transit but it's hidden so I guess not a big deal aesthetic wise, but for integrity, time will tell.
