This is nice looking unit. Pay attention to the height as it is a little short. We added some trim to the bottom so we didn't have to cut the baseboard to make it snug to the wall. Also love love love that the labels for the pieces are stamped on instead of stickers that split nails when trying to get them off. I was able to assemble the 3 tier bookcase myself - a retired woman. Make no mistake, an extra set of hands to get the assembly process started would have helped! Don’t forget the pliers. The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. One heads up though, the package is HEAVYYY so be ready to have someone help you carry it in. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. Arrived missing 8 parts total. Ive sent a message to customer service. I will update and change my review depending on how the missing parts are handled. The bookcase is partially assembled and unusable as it is. Edit: Wayfair responded quickly, connected me to the manufacturer who immediately sent off the missing parts. It is solid wood and looks pretty good. There were no drill holes for the screws which was a first for me so putting it together was a little weird. Some of the parts didn't line up perfectly because the screw would catch wherever it wanted to and pull in some direction. In the end it all worked out and I doubt anyone would really notice except the person who put it together. So this is kind of a "you get what you pay for" kind of situation, but if paying less and getting something half-decent is the goal, then this will do the trick. I really love the way this looks once assembled. Assembly was fairly straightforward just a bit tedious. The instructions could be better in particular the illustrations. The only negative I have is that mine have a gap between them. I adjusted the foot pegs on each to make sure they were balance and that is what I got.
