It pours very well provided you open the spout when pouring, and I only say this because too many people don’t actually know how to use a whistling tea kettle! I have seen too many reviews, saying it leaks all over when pouring because they’re trying to pour through the whistle opening rather than the kettle opening! Honestly, some people should not be allowed to write reviews if they don’t understand how to use the simplest of products!! I’ve only heated water once. It is nice and light weight. The whistle is not terribly loud, I hope it doesn’t stop working. The button to open and close the cover to the spout is hard to operate. Maybe it will loosen with use.. Judy. Walnut Creek, CA. Thu Mar 19 2026
