I purchased these muslin cotton toddler sheets as a gift to my friend, who is about to have her first baby any day now. It’s a girl, so obviously, I purchased the pink ones. I am disappointed about the color. Instead of being coral pink, it is some kind of dead rose with a hind of orange. It is definitely different from the photo online and it doesn’t look like a baby item. Also, it has some slight chemical odor most likely from the dye, and it is not very soft. Of course, I hope the odor will evaporate and the fabric softens after washing. I have several adult muslin sheets myself, and they are all much better quality than these ones. However, it has washed very well, which was extremely important to me, and for the price it works perfectly well in my guest room. It is comfortable enough and does the job as an everyday duvet cover set. These are the best sheets. I washed them as soon as they arrived. I ordered rust and they didn’t bleed or fade when washed. They are nicer than some that I paid quite a bit more for.
