Definitely a 2 person job in moving the box, and to assemble. Instructions only had illustrations, and we had a few moments of frustration following the pics… however, with patience got through the assembly within 2 hrs. Really sturdy and heavy once the base was filled. However, the umbrella does sway a little in-the breeze, but still seems sturdy. Plan on closing the umbrella at night and when strong winds are predicted. Overall a very nice addition to our backyard for summer neighborhood get togethers. This umbrella is perfect! It’s very large bigger than expected and thankful. The pull handle does get a little hard to manipulate up the pole but a little silicone WD won’t hurt.
