I wanted a "girly" ceiling fan and light for my MBR, and this is the one I chose. Yes, the metal color is a bit brassy-pinkish -- some would say borderline tacky/campy -- but I like it for "glamming up" my bedroom. The crystals are beautiful and the 40 or so large, weighy spheres took about 45 minutes for me to attach after the elecrician removed the older fan and installed this one. The long crystals came pre-installed, with a couple extras included in case of breakage. The fan uses a remote and has 6 speeds, moving a surprisingly impressive amount of air. The LED lights have several different colors and brightnesses. The fan runs quietly and has no balance issues thus far (it's only been a week). The clear blades fold away neatly on top of the light fixture when the fan isn't being used. IF you are looking for an understated "elegant" fan/light, this might be over the top. Beautiful addition to our master. The lowest fan setting (1) is VERY fast and a significant amount of air. Wishing their was a slower setting so that the sheets aren’t blowing around as we sleep. I was worried this might look too “cheap”, but it’s actually pretty nice looking and the retractable blades are pretty darn cool. My only complaint (and the reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5) is that the three variations of “white light” are so very similar. I love bright lights, but not all the time and the “soft white” of this fixture still looks like the old fashioned LED lights folks didn’t love because they were so industrial feeling. Gotta admit, the light was better than we expected. The light combinations between actinic light (6500K) and yellow light (3000K) make this a mood synchronizer. Initially when turned on it was too dim, then we realized it was in the middle of it's intensity. The brightest intensity adequately lights up our kitchen. The fan we deemed weak, perhaps because our previous fixture was a light&fan combo that had bigger 3' diameter blades. Fan flow in our opinion is offset by the inconspicuousness of the fan as it is transparent, a nice feature. It has a remote you could loose and appears to hold it's last setting when turned on. I think this is because the fixture connects to constant power and switched power but don't quote me on that. It works to how we wish it to work. Overall it's great.. Ruth. Fri May 01 2026

This is overall a very nice light and fan. Instructions were not in order or clear in places but given my husband had installed a fan before (many times) he was able to figure it out.  There is a remote control, and the light has brightness options, fan has 3 speeds, and there is a timer option as well which is a nice feature. The light is very beautiful and I love how the fan blades are hidden when the fan is not on. The light fixture did take some time to hang each crystal individually so be prepared for that task..lol.
