I have very poor lighting in my house and was thinking of installing recessed lighting, but then I found this, which is a much less expensive option. The lighting simulated the patterns of the sky, including sunrise and cloudy days. The remote is easy to use . Installation requires watching a you tube video, but that made it much easier . This light is really beautiful. The metal is high end and looks very art deco. I originally bought it for the hall but they put it up in the kitchen by mistake and we kept it there. What you should know if you're considering this light. Light is dimmable and has temperature adjustment but it is all controlled by an included remote control (does not include the 2 AAA batteries required). The instructions for wiring could be better. I wired the brown wire to be hot and the blue wire to neutral. Also, this light fits snugly to the ceiling and you will need a long, long Philips screwdriver and need to be close to the ceiling to screw in the two screws that hold it to the mounting bracket. It's doable but really hard to hang. I wrapped a little tape to hold the screw to the screwdriver to help hold the screw and secure the light.
