A perfect desk for building models. The lowest setting of adjustability is the same height as my other desk in the room, so I can wheel my chair in between them. I DO recommend the desk as long as you can accept the "CONS" I list. CONS; 1. IMPORTANT, The ledge is not wide enough to safely/securely place the stand of larger monitors. Unless you use a monitor arm I would not recommend this desk if you use anything above a 24" external monitor. 2. The 20" depth might be just a little too short if you are using a laptop with the lid open and an external monitor placed on the desk or ledge. 3. LEDs are not nearly as bright as pictures show. SO-SO The soft side drawers work but not something to brag about. I expected this so wasn't surprised. PROs I'm impressed at how sturdy it is for a light weight desk. Assembly was fairly straight forward as were the instructions that are pretty well written. Everything fit together well and assembly took less than 2 hours with two people. Finals thoughts. If you are using an external monitor I would suggest you consider NOT installing the ledge and use a monitor arm to get the most useable desk space. I did keep the ledge but might remove it later.. This is a nice cabinet. Very sturdy and was fairly easy to assemble. I highly recommend 2 people to assemble. Be careful it can scratch. Very spacious which is exactly what I was looking for!! My only disappointment was that my bigger plates didn’t fit in the spaces behind the glass windows. I ended up putting food on those shelves. I didn’t like seeing that through the glass so I used black stock card behind the glass doors and that did the trick. I am considering changing the knobs to something more primitive. The electric standing desk is sturdy and nice. It is traditional with a sleek design look. The electric height adjustment works smoothly and quietly, making it super easy to switch between sitting and standing modes throughout the day. The built-in power outlets are nice, no more crawling under the desk. It is, however, not easy to put together. It has a lot of parts, so be prepared to dedicate time to that and it takes a couple of hours for the assembly when doing it all alone. The fact that there were no gliders for the drawers is a bit disappointing, because they just hang when pulled out. The original desk I received had some scratches on a couple of parts and the wooden dovels provided to connect the desk top were fragile and broke during the assembly. Reached out to Wayfair support with the part number needed to replace the damage and they were so understanding and supportive enough to provide a new free replacement and told me to dispose off the original desk that was no longer functional. This is a good looking table but 4 stars because the top of the table is 2 pieces and the wood design doesn’t match (see pictures). The top 2 drawers do not have the side mount drawer slides instead they glide on metal side rails and they are slightly smaller than the space, you can move them left and right but they don’t come off the metal rail. Received my desk over the past weekend. It was easy and sturdy to put together, they did include a mini hand screwdriver (but I used a drill to make things quicker). Lights work great with the remote. However, I will note that the app is either outdated or does not work. So if you are looking to play music or have specific colors flashing/a specific color gradient then you can’t do that. I don’t need it nor do I mind not having it, but it does disappoint me to know part of the price of the desk was for that feature. Haven’t reached out to pursue partial refund, but that’s ok!. Desk seem very sturdy and comes in good packaging. Instructions were semi clear to follow, but I would happily buy again. Material is are good quality and arrived in very good time.
