This area rug features high-low pile tufting that adds a 3D effect to its abstract, watercolor-like pattern of layered beiges, blues, and seagrass greens. It’s handmade from a blend of durable wool and shimmering viscose and has a cotton backing. This area rug’s high 0.75" pile height makes it better suited for cozy, lower-traffic areas, like the bedroom or study. We suggest pairing it with a rug pad to prevent shifting and sliding underfoot. We love the dramatic statement this rug makes; it reminds us of a beachy landscape, seen from the window of an airplane.

The rug is just as beautiful as its pictures. The rug is both soft and feels durable and the underside is very neat. I am using it with a rug pad for extra cushion and it works great even with a bit thicker of a pad. The rug is 100% wool so it sheds quite a bit at first, but I totally expected this having had all wool rugs in almost every room of my home for decades. I love this rug. Runner 2'3" x 8'

I really like this wool rug. It's got some blues, teals, and a little bit of yellow in it. It isn't tightly woven like other tufted wool rugs so it is very soft for wool. I have vacuumed it three times now and it is shedding less and less. It does not clog up the vacuum. One bad thing is that every so often when I walk on it with bare feet I step on something hard and pokey. I have been able to pull out some of the pokey threads woven in, but some don't come out.
