Fairly easy to build. I did it all on my own, took about 12hrs however I took several breaks and I was building 2 of these desks. I'm very happy with my desk. It's the perfect size for the space in my home office. It was shipped with a damaged part. Wayfair shipped the replacement part immediately. The only problem was that instead of shipping just the damage part, I was shipped the entire section. I paid for assembly but they never showed. I was reimbursed for that charge and discounted for the damaged part and the assembly team not showing twice. I did put together myself and like previous customers stated it is very time consuming. It was an 8 1/2 hour job including breaks. The instructions were easy to follow. It took some work to get the drawers aligned but I got it done. This is a beautiful desk. Looks just as good as it does in the picture. The chairs in my photo are also from Wayfair. I recommend paying the money to assemble. It took the two-person crew three hours. But it looks perfect. However, long after the assembly crew left, I realized the light on the front of the desk does not work. I really like this desk. I think its great. However, I only recommended it for those ready for the technical and physical challenges and have the skills, time, and patience for assembling things like this. The instructions describe the general order of assembly and are insufficient on certain details. It comes in five boxes, so be sure to do a complete inventory before starting. I spent more than 24 hours (with break times) for unpacking, inventory, and assembly, including getting the drawers and doors operating smoothly to running, wrapping, and placement of power, video, and data cables so that they are just right. Just as advertised. I was not expecting anything heavy duty. Everything was labeled VERY well and instructions were easy to follow (my only complaint was that in 2 sections it makes a point to say particular holes are “facing out”, but the illustration has them facing in). If you need a lot of desktop real estate, this is the desk to get. At over 70 inches, I have more than enough room for my dual-monitor setup, laptop, and plenty of space left over to actually write and work. The L-shape layout is incredibly efficient. I also love that the lateral file cabinet is mobile, so I can tuck it under the desk or move it off to the side depending on my needs. It doesnt wobble at all and feels like it will last for years. Adjustable Height Electric Desk

Desk arrived a day early which was nice. Fast shipping! I think it looks larger than it actually is but its still nice enough. Its not real big wood, but that being said I think its a decent desk. It took about 5.5 hours to assemble and the directions lacked a bit in some areas. If you are mechanically inclined you can figure it out no problem. Some of the items were labeled incorrectly and some not at all so you really had to study the picture to make you had the correct piece. Also if you just make sure to pay attention to the orientation of the pieces youll be ok. As luck would have it I didnt make one single mistake (that never happens!). The spindle that turns the desk is difficult to insert into the side piece. I recommend lubing up with some soap. Works well without issue once all together. Nice feature to have a standing desk.
