Bought my mom a 2 foot tall can of Luxardo cherries and gave her this pretty lidded vessel (I bought the red lidded option) so she could keep a reasonable amount of cherries out on her bar for cocktails. The pewter dish is a good size for holding jewelry. I would NOT use it to hold candy or food of any kind as it came with a black powder residue covering the dish that smelled like pencil lead and felt weird on my skin.
