I love, love, love these mugs! They are large, heavy and keep my coffee warm longer than most cups I've owned. They're (also) perfect for soups because of their wide opening. I like the way they look and the fact that they're very balanced when you hold them. The handles seem to be very strong when they are full; and don't feel like they're going to break off from the weight. Total must-have for any kitchen! They match my dinnerware set, also. Good set. Had it for a few years now. These pictures are after 3.5 years of heavy use. If you want to see what it would look like. You can see scratches from cutlrey but nothing too bad to be honest. Only thing is the cup handles broke for a couple cups. I don’t know if it is because we always machine washed them or what… but I had to order another set for this reason.. Nada Ali. Vancouver, BC. Add a fashion-forward touch to your kitchenware with this retro-chic Rustic Style Mug. Crafted out of stoneware-- this mug complemented by its simple yet striking design and vintage charm.

Keeps hot liquid hot longer, due to the inverted taper of the sides & the thick pottery sides. Not too heavy while drinking, though. And the unglazed stripe is positioned such that while drinking it the unglazed stripe is not overly evident to the touch. The green works easily with other shades.. Deborah. Portland, OR.
