Was tempted to give this 3 stars, but it’s probably closer to 3.5 so I’ll round up. Overall, I’m very happy with how this dresser looks and the size. It was pretty hard finding something that we liked but also had round corners to make it safe for our 14 month old. There is a lot I wish was different about this dresser though. For one, it took my husband about 4-5hrs to build because it had so many steps and parts (and he is normally good at putting these things together). Second, for how large each drawer looks on the outside, it’s actually much smaller in width and height so you loose a lot more storage than you think (see photos). Lastly, I was expecting soft close drawers because they’re so standard these days. It’s not a smooth close and is actually quite stiff the close at the very end for a full shut. This is an elegant, beautiful piece. My only peeve is that it is made of composite wood except for the 5 legs. The description is misleading. The dresser feels fairly study once assembled, with the exception of the drawers being a bit loose when pulled out. The color looks very nice in person and it appears to be higher quality than it actually is. One complaint we have is that the curved doors on either side and very difficult to slide open and require you to use one hand on the handle and one hand gripping the slats around the backside of the dresser to really open and close them. This could’ve been something I did in error during assembly, but this is not my first rodeo with assembling furniture. For the price though, you really can’t beat this dresser.. Rob. Davison, MI. Nice solid piece, very sturdy. Would definitely recommend. not sure if you can see, but they just as a glass piece with a center hole on the top versus the two holes needed to attach the glass to the bracket. It was also missing a hole where needed to attach one of the shelving.. the first picture with a circle show you the hole in the center and the brackets that have no holes to attach the bolts. The second picture shows you what it should look like cause I bought two.. very disappointed had to keep because of the issues that related to the delay of delivery. Honestly I am really happy with this dresser. It arrived extremely well packed, and the quality and workmanship are solid. There are a lot of parts and hardware but everything is clearly labeled and the instructions are detailed and easy to follow. I definitely recommend using your own tools, because the ones included are very small and will hurt your fingers after a few screws. With a friend and proper tools, it took 2 hours with no breaks. Doing it alone with the provided tools would take much longer. It is heavy and feels very sturdy once assembled, and the drawers open and close very smoothly. Putting together all 9 drawers is a bit of work, but totally worth it. I placed it in my entryway, it looks beautiful. The only small downside for me is the countertop.
