Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. We have a house on the small side where space is at a premium. We were looking for something with usable storage to help reduce clutter and help us stay organized while making the room look nice. This frame checked all of those boxes. The fact that the structural components are made from solid wood was a significant contributing factor as well. Time will tell if it scratches easy or holds up, but in the week or two weve had it, its been a solid, structurally sound, good looking frame that enables us to have drawer storage under our bed. As others have mentioned, the drawers are not attached to the frame, but work great nonetheless. They are huge and have ball bearing wheels attached on the sides which allows them to slide out very easily while not slipping all over the place side to side. The frame was surprisingly easy to put together. It took more time to breakdown all the cardboard boxes than it did to assemble the frame. Great price point too considering the quality. It was a bit time consuming to make this bed, at some parts the instructions were a little unclear. Regardless we got it together (hardware set was missing 1 washer), and it fit our son's mattress well. I like the built in shelving and holes for charging. Unfortunately the led light strip provided didn't work, but its ok since our son didnt need it. I like putting his favorite books and toys on the shelves, and I can plug in one of his night lights into the port which makes up for the light bar not working.
