It’s comfortable, has good lumbar support and not too much head support which my neck likes. As others have said, it won’t stay fully back in the reclined position which is ok. I just watch tv in it. We tried reaching out to Wayfair customer service but was told nothing could be done. The chairs are adult owned and used - no harsh treatment by any means. We feel disappointed in the quality (or lack of), but also in Wayfair's refusal to stand behind a product they sold. This is my second Astor Lazy Boy Recliner. Very comfortable for larger 6,0 plus folks. The reclining mechanism can be a bit noisy and even drop you down unexpectedly, but you get used to it. Easy to assemble. Comfortable and stylish. Only reason I did not give it 5 stats is that when you recline all the way back it does tend to fall forward so you have to be mindful when reclining. I have never, ever, ever purchased a recliner without sitting in it first. i have to say being my first purchase without testing it out. I am very impressed. quick and secure shipping and no parts were missing. very easy to put together. The base is in one box. The back is in a box and the two arm pieces are in a box, and they all snap in together. Along with the mechanics, just two wires you put together. it is a massaging tear, but it just vibrates. There are no rollers in it that go up and down your back and of course, it is a lift chair.
