Disappointed by this one. Fan looks as beautiful in person as it does in photos, but that is where the positives end. Had a professional handyman install this for me and he gave up after two hours. With ceiling fans the design is that the light kit is independent of the motor/fan blade. Either this was poorly machined or neither of us understood the design, as the light spun along with the fan blades and would have resulted in the wiring being torn out of if we had run it. I tried to return it, but I had ordered 34 days earlier and Wayfair holds firm on their 30-day return policy. Wayfair said they'd connect me with the manufacturer. After a week of hearing nothing, I bought a different ceiling fan locally with a trusted name and I had it installed in an hour. So far I love these fans. Ordered them together (2) so they would match rooms that are next to each other. The light is bright enough for large rooms, but can be dimmed, It has 6 speeds which is more than my last fans (only had 3), sturdy, so much lighter than my old ones and easy to put together (per hubby). The real wood blades are nice and very light weight. The wind speed works well for our living room and kitchen. Remote is easy to use and I like that there is a timer on the fan also of 1, 4 and 8 hours. There are 3 light settings so you can choose soft, day, and very bright (the bluish type) to fit your room needs. We like the soft one for the living room and the medium one for the kitchen.
