Cords Free Tear Down Light Filtering Window Roller Shade is a customizable, light-filtering roller shade perfect for any window in the home or office. They were fairly easy to install. We did have to loosen a screw on the mounted hardware pivot it slightly to be able to get the rod into the hardware’s mounting hole bc the recommended 14 inch space from the sill’s top was too tight. There’s a fairly big gap around the edges, as you can see in my pic where the daylight streams from behind the blind, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Blind comes as stated – no deduction is made. For an inside mount, your window opening should measure 0.25 to 1 inch wider than the blind width to ensure a proper fit.
