The Archivist Sleigh Bed captures the romance of old-world design with a warm, inviting presence. Inspired by European and American style elements spanning centuries, it reflects a world-traveled sensibility that balances grand opulence with comfortable, time-honored forms. Crafted in Pecky Pecan and finished in a soft, casual pecan tone, the bed offers a rustic, character-filled authenticity. Artistic distressing—including rasping, chiseling, chain detailing, and cow-tailing—enhances its depth and heirloom appeal. With its sweeping sleigh silhouette and richly textured finish, the Archivist Sleigh Bed creates a statement of enduring craftsmanship and storied elegance.

This bed is absolutely beautiful . I love the fact that the bed does not have the curve at the foot of the bed. I would recommend this bed.. Pam. Bluff City. Wed Sep 09 2026

This low-profile bed brings a classic sleigh silhouette to your space. Crafted from solid rubberwood, it features clean paneled detailing across the headboard and footboard for timeless texture. The curved profile creates an inviting, tailored focal point, while the finished back allows flexible placement anywhere in your room. Eight center support legs add structured stability beneath your mattress frame. Pair it with a box spring to achieve your preferred height and optimal mattress support. Plus, the raised frame allows convenient under-bed clearance for hidden storage options.

With Wayfair, you never know what you're going to get, but this bed is nicer than we were expecting! The headboard and footboard are solid wood and the sides slide in easily. Our king size Sleep Number bed fits great with room for the head and foot to lift. Note the side slats are low to the ground with only a couple inches of clearance so storing things under the bed is not an option. But we're very happy with our purchase.. Jennifer. Saint Louis, MO. This platform sleigh bed grounds your bedroom in old-world classic style and extra storage. It's made from solid and engineered wood in a natural, rich hue. The rectangular sleigh headboard features three sections of picture frame molding that make it easy to arrange accent pillows directly in the center. We love that it comes with a whopping six built-in drawers that offer storage for linens, blankets, or clothes. This bed has center legs that provide additional support. Best of all, a box spring isn't required, so all you have to do is add the mattress of your choice (sold separately). Pick it up on its own or with the matching set (based on availability).

This is a gorgeous, high quality piece of furniture. Overall, I am very satisfied. However, there are 2 sets of holes in the headboard where the side rails attach. Since we had to use the innermost set of holes, the outermost set of holes show, past the side rails, which looks a bit tacky. Luckily, they are not really noticeable from a distance, and bedding will help hide the extra holes.. Wendy. White Bear Lake, MN. Tue Jun 03 2025
