This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. This chair is amazing. I needed a small sofa and did not have any futon-type item in mind at all, but when I saw that this could be manipulated in so many ways, I thought it would be pretty handy - and attractive - and it is! I have a big 'golden sammy' dog and NO dog hair clings to it! BIG WIN. I got the gray color and it looks very rich, soft, and inviting. It's so easy to click it down to take a nap - and you have the option of having armrests up or down or sloped - just like the back. It's hilarious! Very nice folding mat (bed). I purchased the twin size. Good quality and the design and color are very nice. It’s cozy and not too firm. Has a nice softness to it but not too soft.
