This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. Sooo amazing. One of the most comfortable daybeds I’ve ever laidsat on. It is expensive even on sale but decided to pull the trigger anyways. It’s so cute and compliments my space well. Easy to assemble - it is low to the ground but I knew that going in. The only thing I would say is there is a delivery service to sign for it and they were not willing to work with me on scheduling a delivery day that worked for me. I got the green daybed. The colors were true emerald which is lovely next to house plants. The bed feels sturdy but my only issue was the lack of a central support beam. So I just built one from some planks of wood. All in all, I am very pleased with this piece of furniture and I get to enjoy it as a couch and just sit on it getting some sunlight while reading. Love this daybed! The velvet is so soft & plush. We got an 8 inch mattress & it just covers the gap in the back but it is a nice height for our backs. We placed it in the living room of our 1 bedroom condo in case we have guests. It’s so comfy to sit on & watch TV. The trundle is a great feature.
