Bed is nice and heavy. Only problem was we were missing the #4 screws. Thankfully we didn't need them until close to the end of putting the bed together. While the pictures for directions to assemble the bed were mostly sufficient, I think some more clear explanation would have been helpful as well. Making this bed is easy, our mattress is a Saatva Firm at 14”. Mattress drops nicely and fills the platform leaving a small gap to tuck sheets. Mattresses nowadays are very heavy but this bed allows picking up the corners without throwing out your back. Bed stays in place with no squeaking or cracking sounds. Ours arrived flawlessy. This bed is pretty great. Mostly solid wood, sits level and looks nice. I only have 2 complaints for why I didn’t give it 5 stars. The assembly stickers that say “this end up” were upside down which was a pain as it wasn’t noticed until after it was installed, so I had to take it back apart. I got the walnut king size bed and I LOVE it. It’s subtle Boho and comfy. I had my two 20 year old cousins put it together and they got through it in like 20 minutes. It took some time to assemble but it’s pretty easy to do. The bolts could be better quality (they strip easily) but overall, I’m super happy with it.
