My living room was designed as a livingdining area, so there’s only one pendant light for the entire room, and it only lights half of it. This lamp is so bright I’ve been using it by itself! Assembly is VERY easy. The lamp comes “unfolded”, to assemble simply screw the pieces of the leg to the base and pull the pre-threaded cord through. The shade comes rolled up, to assemble simply unroll, clip it to the 2 metal rings, and velcro it closed. I love the traditionalmid-century modern design, and it looks beautiful in my living room.
