We had some electric cord covers left over from setting up our reclining couch that we used on the backs of the end tables to cover the ugly big black cord hanging down the back side of the cabinet. Since moving to a new house, I have been putting a lot of furniture and other things together....like, a lot! Some of them are so overwhelming that I have to take a break after a couple of steps. But this table was a DREAM for assembly. It had only a few steps and very little intricate work. I was finished in 20 minutes or less. This table is solid wood and extremely well packed in the box so there is no damage in shipment. It looks better in person than I imagined. I'm beyond thrilled with it. Really love this side table! This came package, tucked snugly encased In a foam box inside a regular box. Fully assembled except you screw the l4 egs on, and the two knobs for the drawers. This was so easy! Took less than 5 min to do it. This comes with 4 nice pads to stick on bottom of the legs too! Well made table with beautiful finish. In my opinion the finish.appears darker in person, which I love. Its very sturdy and I really like the top shelf that slides out to give extra space when you need it. I have a small DVD player on the shelf. It has a hole in the panel to thread the cords to the DVD player.
