Did not expect the back part of the sofa to be a piece of metal and light fabric covering it, but for the price I can’t complain. Works for its purpose for now but don’t expect it to be durable in the long run. I love the color and am happy with the purchase! (the plastic on the sofa is to protect from my cats scratching). Pleasantly surprised. The couch looks great! It is firm but comfy . Although, I don’t think I trust it as a sleeper sofa since there is no bar or handles that come out of the part that reclines to brace weight. I envision the top bending or breaking . Maybe it’s a new better designed sleeper couch. Not sure! I purchased a similar couch 9 years that this one replaced due to the springs in the seat. If this lasts another 9 I’ll be happy.. Kimberly.
