There's a moment, when the conical lid lifts and the steam escapes, that a kitchen becomes a Mediterranean home. This authentic tagine pot is handmade in Tunisia by Fair Trade artisans using techniques passed down through generations — hand-thrown from 100% European fire clay, hand-glazed, and hand-painted so that no two are ever alike. The iconic cone circulates steam to self-baste your food, coaxing stews, braises, and couscous into deep, tender flavor with almost no added fat. Lead-free, non-stick, and oven-safe to 650°F, it travels from flame to table, where the vibrant Bohemian pattern does the talking. Loved by thousands of home cooks — and unlike mass-produced cookware, every purchase supports artisan families in Tunisia. Medium (3.1 Qt) serves 2–4; Large (5.5 Qt) serves 4–6. Blue, Red, or Turquoise.

Good set. Had it for a few years now. These pictures are after 3.5 years of heavy use. If you want to see what it would look like. You can see scratches from cutlrey but nothing too bad to be honest. Only thing is the cup handles broke for a couple cups. I don’t know if it is because we always machine washed them or what… but I had to order another set for this reason.. Nada Ali. Vancouver, BC. Our hand-made, 10 inch Shiny Black Clay Plate, is an excellent way of adding a rustic touch to an elegant table. It is made of extra think clay which makes it very durable. These plates veer away from tradition and achieve a beautiful modern and sleek look using design and solid colors. These plates make attractive table setting for any occasion, and match beautifully with Mexican Hand Blow glassware. Traditionally Mexican Pottery have been notorious for being produced with leaded glazes, however these plates are certified 100% Lead Free and completely safe for food use. They are dishwasher safe, and can be placed in ovens, both conventional and microwave. Care and use Clay pieces are very tough and durable and can be stacked one on top of each other. Of course they will break if dropped, impacted heavily, or because of extreme temperatures, but otherwise, they last a long and stay looking great. As such the plates must not be submitted to drastic changes in temperature, and care should be taken when handling the plates. The plates are dishwasher safe, making their care very easy, however, it is better to hand wash the plates using mild soap. Never use metal or abrasive cleaners so as to not mar the surface. If there is stuck on food, fill the plates with warm soapy water, allowing them to soak briefly then scrubbing lightly with a sponge or soft cloth. APPEARANCE Our plates are handmade and the ones with designs, hand painted. As with most products which are handmade by artisans around the world, the pieces are all individual and may vary in appearance or may have slight imperfections in the form or finish of the materials. These imperfection do not compromise the aesthetics or functionality of the pieces and are considered normal and to be expected.
