Bought this double screen door because we were screening the deck at our lake house. We have extra wide steps up to the deck and needed a door wider than the standard 32 or 36 inch. Listing said for width less than 68" it could be modified, so we decided to go for it. I was surprised, the instructions were complete, clear, and easy to follow. (So often you get the skimpy badly translated ones.) With a little help from a neighbor we got 2 sets, front and back of deck, installed in about 3-4 hours. Hubby is a metal fabricator, not a carpenter, but he said it was pretty easy once he understood their system. I would say it's a 2 person job, unless you're a really good carpenter. We have 1 side set as a stationary sidelight, only opening the other side. We'll put some planters or knick knacks on the steps in front of the stationary side. Confusion over the term "Pre Hung Double door" is the issue as a prehung double door in a lumber store is a set of two doors assembled together in a frame where as you install the complete unit into the opening waiting for it. The purchase we made came in three boxes, two door section which were "pre hung" as in welded to a side frame via metal hinges, there were two of these boxes and an third box with hardware to assemble the door set. I bought this screen door for its ability to protect my glass panel front door from any hurricane damage. It has come through both Helene and Milton like a trooper.
