We purchased this in two sizes. They have performed different, so I am going to review each independent from each other. This purchase was for a king bed. It went together relatively easily, and I did it by myself. It probabaly took less than two hours. The metal is sturdy, the pieces went together well (some of the screws are tight and I needed a few breaks between - but that’s a good thing!). It has been used for over two years now and has held up great! No scratches, little to no squeaking, no slats falling outloosening, etc. I am happy with the quality and price point. This frame requires the use of a foundation or box spring. This heavy-duty frame has six (6) legs that utilize our uniquely designed glides. The frame using these glides has been tested with a 2000-pound load. Guaranteeing the structural integrity of the part is perfectly consistent from one part to the next. The glides are stronger than a wheel while maintaining the same or better mobility. These glides are safe on all flooring surfaces. They will not mark or scuff a wood floor like wheels. The 2-inch wide center support on this frame is used head-to-toe on the king and full sizes. It can be used either head-to-toe or side-to-side on a queen size. This product was very misleading. I spent about a month searching for a queen bed that didn’t have the center support leg so I could put a full size mattress underneath. I know this is a tough find, so I was excited to find this one didn’t have a center support leg, but unfortunately it did. Not only did it have a leg not shown in the pictures, there is an entire center bar not shown as well. This bed would have been a fine purchase if I was looking for a regular queen bed, but I bought it specifically because the the bed didn’t show a center leg. The pictures and description were very misleading. Also, my package came beat up, I could see the bed through the tears in the mattress.
