The Vulcan fire pit is an understated focal point, that forms the ultimate conversation piece and sets the stage for hours of warmth. 17 Stories manufactures and utilizes industrial-strength tank heads for the bowls used in their fire pits. Tank heads are the end caps on cylindrically shaped pressure vessels. They generally comply with ASME standards because of the high pressures they must withstand for use with gas storage tanks and reactors.

Contemporary design, high quality, hand-finished solid steel modern fire pit. Its features will complement many outdoor decors, both in winter and summer. This modern fire pit is suitable for different landscape settings and decorative choices. The bowl’s surface is sanded to ensure natural rust forms over time. Legs are hand-finished using the highest quality stainless steel. This product is very durable and will last long years. The carbon steel used in manufacturing this Fire Pit will develop a nice patina over time. Bowl is made from solid rusting (carbon) steel and it arrives looking very shiny, almost chrome-like. It would rust once exposed to water. Usually, this natural process takes a couple of weeks. The lid might convert your fire pit into a modern table.

Sturdy, classy and holds a lot of wood for a big wiener roast!. Paula. Anderson, IN. Tue May 05 2026

Create a cozy patio setting as you watch the flames dance from this unique fire bowl

I've had this fire pit for several years now. I will say, it's held up well for all the abuse I've given it! Some very big, hot fires. I use it for yard/tree debris, and the occasional, sit around the fire with a glass or two of wine. It's been left out in the rain and snow and none the worse for it. My only complaint is the design cut into the metal. A few more connections would have made it better. Some of the deer/antlers have warped, probably from the heat, and are leaning out. Other than that, a nice buy.. Laurie. Waterford, PA. Fri Mar 15 2024

Absolutely love this! I read all the reviews first, so I wasn’t surprised by the rust or the packaging. Ours arrived double boxed, as the inside box looked like it went through a tumbler. The metal itself was unharmed and just what I’d hoped for.. Christina. US. Wed Jun 17 2026

I’m am so excited to get this fire pit. I wanted it to be a large pit and this one is 62” wide. It comes in several sizes. It says in the description that it is smokeless and hoping it is as I hate moving around a fire pit to stay away from the smoke. We still have a burn ban on so can’t light a fire for awhile as we had over 900 structures burn this September during the Spokane fire and I’m sure after so many loosing so much they are being super careful of when people will be able to have an open flame going. I know exactly where it will sit and I want to put some kind of stones down around it for safety purposes.. Linda. Mead, WA. Sun Oct 18 2026

Modern and unique Faisal Stainless Steel Wood Burning Fire Pit for organic integration into a contemporary garden and outdoor living life. No smartphones and no sophisticated applications. Just old friends, good stories and cozy warmth of the fire. The time has stopped. The bowl is made of rusting (carbon) steel, which comes from the factory "shining" and starts rusting when it gets out of the box. Usually, this natural process takes a couple of weeks. Orren Ellis Deco products are made of high-quality metal and the rusting process may take up to two months. The rusting process would start faster by dipping a bowl into salted water.

I am charmed by the interesting lines and complex rust patterns on this fire pit we use on our lakeside patio. Because the designer omitted a drain hole, between uses, I empty the ash and turn the bowl upside down to prevent rain from collecting in the bowl. My husband finds the design confusing when he needs to right the bowl, but the notches on the sides of the bowl provide clues to fit it accurately to the angular base.. Elizabeth. Greenville, IL. Cover your fire pit to protect it from the elements. This cover is made in the USA of heavy gauge 12 gauge carbon steel that is formed with a slight arc to shed water. It also doubles as a tabletop space when the fire pit is not in use.
