The sideboard is made of E1 grade MDF board, which has excellent sturdiness and durability. MDF is not easy to be affected by moisture and will not deform easily like ordinary wood after long-term use, ensuring long-term stability.

We had to remove the 4 metal pads when we unpacked the cabinet. We replaced the metal pads with round, felt pads with adhesive on them. These pads allow us to sllide the cabinet without scratching our wooden floor. We've installed these pads on numerous pieces of furniture to protect the floor. However, no other furniture required us to unscrew metal pads like the pads on the buffet cabinet. So, in my opinion, the metal pads are a poor design related factor. The instructions for this item are fairly clear. We were able to put it together with few problems.
