I really love these! They are well made and I’ve put them through the dishwasher multiple times and they come out great! The box it came in was just cardboard box which I was surprised since it’s a very nice brand. Silverware though came in little plastic foil wrap so it was kind of protected. Besides poor packaging everything looks beautiful. It’s shiny and so clear you can use it as a mirror. Also the knives are so sharp I had to put them away from little kids hands but for cutting purposes they are great. Pricey but worth it! I searched and searched for flatware NOT MADE IN CHINA! It was very difficult! Most familiar names (and those that used to be associated with quality) are not made in America anymore. For example: Reed and Barton, Onida, Lenox, Micasa, Kate Spade. The quality of these aforementioned brands has decreased dramatically. I would have loved to buy American: yet, I only found one company aptly named Liberty.
