Well…..? I’m using decanter for alcohol in a restroom. The plastic wrap on the lid was too large to comfortably close, so a difficult journey to cut the plastic off without damaging the glass with sharp objects. Of course, the results were a sloppy fit, but for appearances, sits fine on top. Otherwise, in good shape. As for use as a whiskey decanter, I’d guess, it would be a little small? I bought this oil and vinegar dispenser set because I was pouring these condiments directly out of the bottles they came in, thus using too much oil and vinegar. I really like these bottles and made the right choice as I use less oil and vinegar. This set comes with a funnel which makes it easy to pour oil and vinegar in the dispensers.
