Pretty sturdy, instructions are easy to read.Exactly what it looks like in the picture, the drawers at the end are great for smaller things. We bought this bed for our guest room. I think the bed has a really pretty design and it’s sturdy. It took my husband some time to assemble it, but the process was easy and not aggravating at all. I like the height of the frame - holds the mattress up a good height from the floor. The only potential drawback I’ve noticed is there is a lip inside the foot of the bed that makes it a little hard to tuck the bedsheets in at the bottom if you like to do that when you make the bed..
