I love this bed! I will say if you have small children, it could be a hazard corners need Sanding. It is Absolutely a minimum of two people for assembly. The drawers are deep and they hold a lot of stuff. I opted for the white glove delivery and I’m glad I did. It took two men to put it together and carry it up to our second floor bedroom. The wood color is more reddish brown than the photo. It was initially a bit much, but It’s growing on me. The distressing effect is a bit too heavy, overdone (see the closeup photos). Beautiful! I got the pale oak and it's perfect (it isn't yellow - more of a white/blonde oak with a barely there gray undertone). The materials feel high quality. I planned to use this as more of an insert (wrapping a large headboard/frame around it) because I was afraid it would look cheap but it's such a nice wood tone that I might just attach the headboard to it. Very nice king size bed frame, but it has SO MANY PIECES.. it took us 4 hours to put this together. The drawers underneath are flimsy wire racks that have tiny plastic wheels underneath.
