While the mesh and attachment of the seat to the frame is pretty much the same as other chairs, this one does have double-straps which should last a bit longer. Everything about this chair is wrong: - the footrest comes up only when the chair is fully reclined - the seat of the chair is so high off the floor that the only person in our family whose feet could touch the floor while seated is 6 ft 4 inches tall - the lever to pull for reclining the chair is a safety hazard. If you aren't careful, your finger will get pinched (hard) in the mechanism. This has happened to two people in our family. - when the chair is in an upright position, it gradually reclines back until almost horizontal (without touching the recline lever). this could possibly be a problem where it was assembled incorrectly - we purchased Wayfair's setup/assembly package - another big mistake - Overall: THE CHAIR IS AWFUL. I liked it so much I bought two. My very good friends just got a new house and a new baby. So I bought them this chair in grey. And was so impressed with it when I visited that I bought one for myself in brown. It’s swivels beautifully and rocks great Even the massage is much better than I expected and hits right at the right spots. I’m 5’4. The heat is quit subtle but will feel great in winter. The fabric is nice on this recliner. It rocks which is nice. It was fairly easy to put together except the arms were a challenge. The massage is nice. The three stars are because it will only put the feet up and the head down at the same time. There is no adjustment for just putting your feet up or the back down. I had to add an ottoman for my feet if I want to have them up but be upright on the back. It makes it very inconvenient. It did not say this anywhere in the description or I would have gotten a different chair. If you don't mind the reclining and feet up in the same motion, then it is a nice chair.. Deborah.
