Compact, fits our space perfectly. It is a standard step-pedal trashcan though the lid opening mechanism is a little flimsy and the lid rocks back and forth a bit after it’s open before stabilizing, especially if you step hard on the pedal (if you step lightly and don’t open it all the way it’s smooth). Love my new trash can. The one I had was also from Wayfair, but it was wider and the step to open was in the front. I was tired of retouching the cabinet due to the lid always scuffing it. This one is slim design and taller. Holds the same amount of trash 13 gallons. Only this one opens towards a wall and all I have to do is pull it way from it so it doesn't hit it. I didn't have that option with the other one that is now on by back patio. This is perfect for a small kitchen and not having to give up and trash space. Came quickly too. Less than one week from ordering to delivery.. Juanita. Bullhead City, AZ. Fri Oct 23 2026
