I had very specific criteria I was looking for in an everyday table. I wanted a pedestal base, an oval or round top with a leaf, cream/off-white with a dark wood top. it either had to match my existing chairs or have chairs without fabric. I also had a budget in mind. I know I'm extremely picky. I have been looking on and off for the right table for almost 4 years. Even after I order the table I texted my husband and said I'm probably going to hate it. I ordered it on a Thursday and it arrived unexpectedly early on Saturday morning and we put it together easily. 2 bolts per foot and 4 bolts for the top. nothing was damaged in shipping and the table is an almost perfect match to the existing pieces in the room. The base is a little more on the white/gray side then cream but in the shade of the table its not noticeable. We will most likely always have the leaf in but the mechanism worked fine and everything fit together well and it feels sturdy. I really like these chairs! They’re comfortable and provide great support, and overall I’m very happy with how they look and feel. I’m giving them four stars because the assembly instructions are not very clear. The first chair took us way too long to assemble because we followed the instructions exactly as they were shown. It wasn’t until we finished the first chair that I realized the instructions are actually in the wrong order. I started with the last step instead, and after that, assembling the other chairs was super easy and much faster. For a moment, we honestly regretted buying them because the first one was so frustrating to put together. But once we figured out the correct way to assemble them, it really wasn’t that bad. This is one of the best purchases we have made from Wayfair. It is MUCH nicer in person - super high quality and very durable. We've had this for 5-6 years now and it still looks brand new. The 60" table IS huge - so make sure you have enough room for it, and that whatever area rug you get, allows for chairs to be pulled out for seating.
