This sofa has honestly exceeded my expectations, especially at this price point. If you’re on the fence because of the budget, don’t be! We let the cushions fully expand for about 24 hours, and by the 24–48 hour mark they had fluffed up really nicely. I gave the fabric a quick light steam and vacuum, and that was all it needed. Setup was also much easier than I expected. It took my husband and me about 30 minutes, and that’s with three kids running around! I definitely think one person could assemble it alone, it would just take a little longer. One thing I really wanted to mention is the gray color because I couldn’t find many real life photos before ordering. I originally planned on getting the khaki color, but it was backordered, so I made a last minute decision to switch to gray, and I’m honestly so glad I did. It ended up fitting my home even better than I imagined, so hopefully these photos help anyone who’s looking for references of the gray version. The couch is spacious, comfortable, and has quickly become everyone’s favorite spot in the house. The assembly went well. The color is a darker gray, although it did say taupe. We’re keeping it for the fact that it’s still matches in our room. This Cognac faux leather sofa from Wayfair is absolutely gorgeous, but assembling it was a whole thing. Even with two of us working on it, connecting some of the pieces felt impossible. And don’t even get me started on the pillows—after they expanded out of the shrink-wrap, squeezing them into those covers was like a full contact sport.
