Comfortable and exactly as pictured. My only small qualm is there are what appear to be pencil lines on the cane (where the pieces are attached together in various spots along the sides and back), but the lines are under the finish so you can't get them off.. This leaf chair set is a beautiful example of a style of furnishings, originating in France about 1720, evolved from baroque styling. This intricately carved rococo designed chair set offers elongated backs with symmetrical carvings. The chairs are hand-carved out of solid mahogany that is then tastefully finished and upholstered with imported silver taffeta fabric. The chairs come fully assembled, a process of finer construction offering a more stable seating.

The IMPACT of these chairs cannot be overstated. The gold tone is rich and the fabric is luxurious. Truly a statement piece!. Vince. Fenton, MI. Sat Feb 07 2026
