I just got this so theres no longevity in this review, though I will go back and update after a while. This item is heavy, two packages arrived totaling around 200 lbs, I should have checked weight before buying as a female who lives alone. But this is beautiful. My kitchen is small so I knew it would take up the majority of my space but it surpassed my expectations in the look department. The only reason I mentioned the weight is that if you dont like it, it almost feels like you are kind of stuck with it and I read in another review that Wayfair was not as happy to return to his item so people should be aware. Love the storage space, I went from not having enough counter or cabinet space in my kitchen to having extra space. It is heavy duty, strong and good quality. Im only take a star away because there was a part of my foundation that was a bit compromised, and because this item is so huge and heavy replacing a part especially on the foundation isnt easy. I had it professionally put together and the handy man showed me the issue. Im going to report it to Wayfair but Im not sure how they could fix this and I also read someone having a similar issue, which, in all fairness could be the delivery process, you have to handle with care. After taxes this thing was almost 800 bucks so for anything to be compromised is a bit upsetting for me. However I do love it and cant wait to put it to use. I wanted to move to a bigger home but chose not to and Ive always wanted a kitchen island and it is visually perfect. The design kind of looks like granite but it isnt, but the top is very sturdy which I like. It looks elegant and fancy and I do believe it is fairly priced, although expensive, even with the minor foundation issues this is not flimsy at all, it is very strong, I am able to sit on it and it does move , rock or sway. So far Im in love with it.. Marian. Hawthorne, CA. Fri Oct 23 2026

This is a great product. It’s wasn’t difficult to put together but it took a long time due to so many pieces. It took about 5.5 hours to assemble for one person but I think would be quicker and easier with 2 people. I gave it four stars because the trash bin drawer is a little shaky so we added L brackets to give a little more stability to the drawer. Overall I think this was a great purchase.. Sandra. 8/10, an absolute WIN! One piece of the table has a dent in it due to shipping and handling. I put a vase on top of it to hide it. Wayfair gave a me a small % of a refund due to the dent. I paid for the professional assembly Wayfair offers, and it took him 3.5 hours to assemble. TONS of pieces, and the instruction manual is crucial! It has plenty of space, is aesthetically pleasing, and gives my kitchen the luxury upgrade I desire. It has two drawers that don’t have the lock when you extend it, so I have to be careful when opening it. I even added books where some would put spices, so I am loving the dual purpose. I also enjoy using the outlet that comes with the island. I love it!! 100% recommend!. K. Philadelphia, PA. Sun Jun 14 2026

Need to install the trash bin hinges and supports step 12 14 (attaches to parts 3 and 4, not trash bin holder as shown in step 14) at step 1. It makes it easier than fighting with the door with the can holder box in the way. Then skip step 11, do 12. Then go back and do step 11. Step 14 the parts to hook hinge to need to have the treaded part facing away from the inside of the cabinet on each side. Then on step 14 attach the supports to the door only. make sure the parts to attach the supports are put in with the screw thread correctly. Test it before installing.. Sonja. Cuba, MO. Love this! I have a small kitchen and wanted an island I could use as a table. I looked at several before deciding on this one for the following reasons: 1. Drop leaf supported by solid brackets. 2. Trashcan door. 3. Fake marble top is more moisture-proof than others I looked at. 4. Locking wheels. 5. I didn't need an outlet on it. I put this together by myself (f,70). It took me most of a day as I leisurely assembled it. Instructions were good. I had one set of drawer slides backwards, but easily fixed. Piece (#37), that paper towel brackets go on, has holes different distances from the edges. Since you put this piece on while the table is upside down, the holes closest to the edges go closer to the floor (the top of the table). I had it backwards and the trashcan door hit the paper towel roll whenever I opened it. I was able to take things apart and flip it over. I had a little trouble getting the top seated properly, but with some pushing of the posterboard-like pieces (#14/#15), it slipped into place in the slot on the top. The bottom hinged door is slow close! I love having the extra storage space. It's very solid. I bought 2 bar stools to go with it. I couldn't be happier. The only con I've found is finding a trashcan to fit it. Still looking.. Barbara. Muncie, IN. Thu Jun 25 2026

Engineered wood kitchen island with a modern design creates a spacious centerpiece for meal prep, dining, and entertaining. Measuring 75.6" W x 32.7" D, this extra-large kitchen island bar features a thick countertop, built-in fridge cabinet, and versatile storage options. The kitchen island includes two drawers, a double-door cabinet, and a hidden tilt-out trash cabinet that fits a 10–13 gallon bin. A warm brown countertop and fluted black base add a refined furniture-style look. Plus, we love that the open legroom design creates a comfortable spot for bar stools and casual dining.

The holes for the door hinges were off 1/4" from each other so are misaligned. I wasn't going to risk making things worse by drilling new holes so close to the existing ones. I still like the island, but for the money spent, would have expected better.. Anonymous. Roanoke, VA. Sat Mar 28 2026
