This is a very solid piece of furniture. Very well executed. The reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because the paint job wasn’t up to par. The doors need caulk and another coat of paint. I honestly think the cabinets are unfinished furniture and are painted per order. I’ve purchased many unfinished furniture pieces in the past and know what the quality should be. I’m definitely happy with my purchase but recommend the vendor take more time and care with finishing the cabinets. Poor construction. Shelves fall out. I didn't have anything on the shelves and it fell to the bottom. The stain i ordered was described as brown, it's almost black. Several scratches on outside of cabinet also. The trim around the glass doors looks like someone applied ot with their feet. Not cut right and just stuck on. I'd rate it zero stars.. Debbie. Took my husband and myself 2 days to put together, maybe 8-10 hours. A few flimsy pieces but the shelves and doors are pretty solid. The pantry arrived in perfect condition, but had so many parts to assemble! The doors take quite awhile to adjust after you screw the hinges into place, but I really appreciated to detailed instructions and was able to get the doors aligned after a few attempts. I plan to replace the gold knobs with black ones and think it will make the pantry appear to be of higher quality. It is a solid piece and has plenty of space with adjustable shelves.
