Few things to note 1. Don’t try to swap the drawer sides or you have a massive gap on the side from the desktop 2. The instructions show you the sides swapped with the flat side of the shelf unit facing out - this is a dirty trick. Don’t try it or you off center desk. 3. Swap step 8 and 7. You’ll thank me later. 4. 2-4 hours is a lie IF you follow the directions. I had to rework 3 times which put me at 5-6 hours of putting together. 5. I waited 5 months for this desk to come back into stock. Although it’s the look I wanted, the rework and cussing was not to my satisfaction. My company offers ergonomic online consults and noticed my old-fashioned leather top wood desk was too high for my height. Stable and easy install countertop table. During assembly there were some noticeable blemishes. I was able to touchup the blemish on the bottom of the inside laminate finish with a furniture dark brown maker. There were blemishes on the faux marble top and on one side. It’s noticeable when the table top has bright light reflecting from it that shows the blemishes. I couldn’t fix those markings. The shipping box was a thinner cardboard than I expected for shipping. The table inside of the box was protected by styrofoam on all sides. The table top should have been protected in plastic wrap to prevent the thin sheet of styrofoam covering it from potential blemishes. After contacting customer support the manufacture gave me a partial refund for the blemishes. I placed table mats on the table top to hide the most noticeable markings.. Ruben. South Amboy, NJ. I think I’m going to really like this desk as it is aesthetically pleasing, but also functional as a standing desk. It did take me about five hours to put together by myself.
